Last week we visited one of our favorite spots for a picnic breakfast and a nature walk.
We found two new-to-us wildflowers:

The usual mallard group was missing from the pond that morning, but we found plenty of tadpoles to watch.
And the highlight of the day: building a playhouse under the oaks with sticks and stumps.
