This morning our two families went up to my in-laws’ house for a little nature time, and we had so much fun! We went on the zipline, practiced on the balance beam, found little spiders and lizards, tasted grapes in the vineyard, tried tomatoes in the garden, explored the wine cellar, had a snack under the wisteria, checked out our neighbor’s jam canning process, and picked some apples and peaches straight from the tree! Whew! It was quite a drive for Celeste, but I’m so glad we were all able to explore around this special little spot in the world. Pretty soon, we’ll be living there too: we’re building a house on the property:) How fun to be able to have school on the mountain today!
