I loved our leaf study! I think the kids do really well with something directed like that:)
I think so too–by the way, I was really impressed by Cate's drawing of the heavenly bamboo! And my kids are *still* doing rubbings, cutting, and pasting into their journals right now, with no signs of slowing down.
Working on a write-up of our nature outing now… 🙂
